I have 15 years of experience in academia and industry and have published more than 45 peer-reviewed and conference proceedings articles. Since receiving my Ph.D. in Materials Science from Isfahan University of Technology, I have managed more than 15 research projects worth nearly $400,000 funded by various agencies in Iran. I have been working on intermetallic materials such as TiAl, Ni3Al and FeAl compounds for more than 10 years and on improving the mechanical, oxidation and wear properties of tungsten carbide (WC-Cermet) for more than 5 years.
Recently we have started some work on the characterisation and modification of alloys produced by SLM to develop the potential applications of this production method. I now lead two research groups, one on carbide-based cermets and the other on additive manufacturing of metals.
My educational background is:
2015 PhD in Material Science
Isfahan University of Technology (Excellent, First rank)
2008 M. Sc. in Materials Characterization and Selection
Sahand University of Technology
2006 B. Sc. in Materials Engineering
Amirkabir University of Technology
